Are any of your products tested on animals?

The only product we have that has been tested on animals is the dog shampoo, and they love it!

Where are the bulk items produced?

All the bulk items we carry for refilling are made here in the good ol' U.S.A. (except the Dead Sea and Pink Himalayan Bath Salts, of course).

Are your products vegan?

All of our products are vegan with the exception of the Honey Face Wash that utilizes the healing properties of thoughtfully sourced honey.

Are your products GMO-Free?

Our products are 99.7% GMO (Genetically Modified Organisms) free!

Are your products gluten-free?

We cannot guarantee that our products are gluten-free or nut-free (unless marked) as our products are produced in a facility that handles gluten and nuts.

How can I know if my (online order) custom scent will smell good? 

Choosing scents you are at least vaguely familiar with is a safe bet. And we have found in the shoppe that if it sounds good together it generally smells good together! Plus you will have at least two ‘pros’ smell-checking your scent before we ship it off to you.

How are refills priced?

All of our liquids and powders available for refilling are sold by the fluid ounce. The price per ounce includes the cost of custom-scenting for all scentable products.

Do you private label/white label?

Any tips for taking bubble baths?

Of course! Additives are important, we like to use two or three of the following for each bath: bubbles, salts, bath bombs, bath oil, essential oils and/or bath soak. We always light a couple of candles to help set the mood. One of our very favorite tips is for you to take a large glass of ice water with you to help prevent overheating during hot steamy baths. Not to mention you will be hydrated inside and out afterwards. Now put on a face mask and relax!

Can I bring my own bottle?

Yes! You are welcome to bring bottles you already have. It is recommended to clean bottles thoroughly and let them dry before bringing them in to refill. In the case of a glass container that previously held a food product, we recommend sterilizing with diluted bleach.

 Can I refill things that aren't totally empty?

Yes, if you are already using our products you are able to do partial refills so you can get everything you need in one trip. We will simply weigh the container at the Tare Station prior to filling and mark the start weight on a tag. We will then fill, scent, top-it-off and reweigh to figure out just how much was added.

 Do you host birthday parties? 

Short answer, yes! While we do not have the facilities to host the entire event, we have found that we make an excellent stop! Just let us know when you would like to come and what everyone is going to make and we will do the rest! It’s a super fun and interactive way for party-goers to make their own party favors! Shipping, Returns & Exchanges

Where do you ship? 

We ship to all 50 states, Canada and Mexico. If you are ordering from outside the USA please note: Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility. Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to buying.

What steps do you take to make shipping more eco-friendly? 

We only use reused and/or recycled packing materials, and our packing peanuts are always biodegradable and disolvable. We generally ship USPS in smaller sized boxes when possible in the hopes that our deliveries can happen on the normal mail route. To top it off, we plant one tree for every order shipped!

Can I ship to multiple addresses?

You will need to create a new order if you would like to ship to more than one address.

When will my order ship?

Please allow up to 3 business days to process and pack your order. Orders are shipped on business days only. Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding public holidays. Packages are normally shipped in 4-7 business days to Alaska and Hawaii.

When will I get my order?

Delivery times shown below are based upon normal business volume. You may choose to upgrade the shipping method for faster delivery. Not all delivery methods are available to all areas.

Will you ship to my P.O. Box?

Yes, absolutely, just be sure to pick USPS as your shipping method for P.O. Boxes.

What is the return policy?

Unused merchandise in new, saleable condition may be returned or exchanged within 30 days. Bulk/custom items are non-returnable, but we recommend saving it to use as an excellent emergency gift!

Tracking & Delivery

How do I track my order?

When your order is shipped from our warehouse, we will send you an email to confirm your shipment - this email will include a tracking number and link to enable you to track your package.

Do I have to sign for delivery?

You will not have to sign for delivery unless you tick the 'Signature Required' box in the checkout. However, by not ticking that box you are acknowledging that neither UPS nor The Refill Shoppe are responsible for replacing product in the event that your order is damaged or missing.

What do I do if I have special delivery instructions?

Unfortunately UPS does not accept special delivery instructions for orders placed through The Refill Shoppe at this time.

Order Changes & Cancellations

What if I need to cancel or change my order?

We do not normally accept order cancellations or changes once an order has been processed. If you have a question about your order, please contact us immediately.

Out of Stock Items

We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause. If your item is out of stock we will contact you to discuss how you would like the order handled. We do not back order.
