Meet the most natural way to do laundry! These soap nuts literally come off a tree, and while they are multi-purposeful, we love them for laundry day. They suds up naturally due to a cleaning agent within their shells, called saponin, and really get the job done! They are reusable for about ten loads, or until they disintegrate.

Soap nuts!

Add 5 soap nuts to a small muslin bag and throw them in the wash. Don't forget to take them out before the rinse cycle so they don't continue to suds up. Replace in about 10 loads, or until disintegration.
